IMD Rainfall Alert: These days it is raining heavily on the mountains. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings in many states.
According to IMD, there is a warning of heavy to very heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh for the next four days. Thereafter, a decrease in rains may be recorded. At the same time, active Monsoon conditions are likely to continue over Central and East India for the next five days. The Meteorological Department has told that the rain activities are going to start decreasing gradually from the states of Northeast India, but the speed of rain will be seen in the western states.
According to the Meteorological Department, talking about North West India, for the next four days, warnings of very heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms and lightning have been issued in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan will also see heavy rains for the next four days. There will be very heavy rains in Uttarakhand on 17th July.
Talking about Northeast India, there will be heavy rains in all Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim on July 15 and 16, Odisha on July 15-18, Jharkhand on July 15 and 16, Gangetic West Bengal on July 15. Talking about central India, a warning of heavy rain has been issued here for the next five days.
There is a warning of torrential rain in East Madhya Pradesh on July 15-17, in West Madhya Pradesh on July 15 and 16, in Chhattisgarh on July 17. Apart from this, in West India, very heavy to very heavy rain would occur over Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra for the next five days. Apart from this, there is an alert of heavy rain in Gujarat on 19 July. Coming to South India, Coastal Karnataka will see heavy rains on July 15-19, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Mahe on July 15, 18, 19.
