• Similarly, the dearness allowance rate for employees with basic pay between Rs 3,501 and Rs 6,500 per month will be 526.4 per cent of the pay, subject to a minimum of Rs 24,567.
• Whereas, the dearness allowance rate for employees with basic pay above Rs 6,500 and up to Rs 9,500 will be 421.1 per cent of the pay, subject to a minimum of Rs 34,216.

DA was expected to be 42 percent

The Central Government revises the DA Rates every year in the months of January and July. The Finance Ministry has increased the dearness allowance of Central Public Sector Enterprise employees to 39.2 percent, which was expected to be increased to 42 percent.
