Bank Revised locker Agreement Punjab National Bank has revised the bank locker agreement. The bank has appealed to the locker customers to immediately execute the locker agreement by visiting the concerned branch. According to RBI rules, if the locker agreement is not signed within the stipulated time, it can be frozen by the bank. Please tell that before this SBI has also revised the locker agreement.

Punjab National Bank has issued Revise or Supplementary Locker Agreement incorporating the rights of the customers. As per PNB website Punjab National Bank requests our respected customers availing locker facilities to approach their locker holding branch and complete the locker agreement, if applicable.

What do locker customers have to do

  • Locker customers will have to visit the bank to sign a revised or supplementary agreement.
  • No document is required except a stamp paper of requisite value. Stamp duty has to be borne by the customer.
  • The charges applicable for making the agreement will be as per the State Stamp Act.

PNB offers different sizes of lockers to its customers, these can be of 13 different sizes. That’s why all these lockers are divided into five categories according to different sizes and the charges are also different for all.

Banks revised the agreement on the strictness of RBI

RBI has directed the banks by extending the deadline for signing the revised agreement to protect the interests of the customers and to remove their problems. RBI has said that banks are advised to inform all their customers about the Revise requirements and from June 30 to September 30, 2023, banks must ensure that at least 75% of their existing customers have Revise Locker. Have signed the agreement.
