LPG Price Today 05 August 2022 : Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), which issues the prices of petroleum products and LPG in India, has released the new price of LPG cylinder. Indian Oil has made LPG cylinders cheaper from August 1, but it will not benefit domestic consumers much.
The reason for this is that Indian Oil Corporation has not cut the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, but has reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders, which are used in dhabas, restaurants, hotels and five star hotels. The prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders are still the same. Indian Oil has cut the prices of commercial cylinders by about Rs 36.
19 kg cylinder in Delhi 2012.50 cheaper
Today relief in the rate of LPG cylinder has been given to those who use commercial cylinders. From today, 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1976.50 instead of Rs 2012.50. At the same time, earlier in Kolkata it was available for Rs 2132.00, but from August 1, it is available for Rs 2095.50. The price of commercial cylinder has come down to Rs 1936.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2141 in Chennai from today.
Domestic gas prices increased wildly in two years
Let us tell you that the prices of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders have increased wildly in the last two years, but according to the new rate, today they have neither become expensive nor cheap. Even today, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is available at the rate of 6 July only. On July 6, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were increased by Rs 50.
Domestic gas cylinder price in Delhi-Mumbai Rs 1053
Even today, domestic gas cylinders will be available for Rs 1053 in Delhi-Mumbai, Rs 1079 in Kolkata and Rs 1068.50 in Chennai. LPG prices had changed on July 1 as well. While the commercial cylinder became cheaper, there was no change in the rate of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
