26 June 2023: Banks will remain closed in Tripura due to Kharchi Puja.
28 June 2023: Banks will remain closed in Kerala, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
29 June 2023: Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
30 June 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mizoram and Odisha due to Rima Eid ul Azha.
2 June 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has divided bank holidays into three categories. including holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act; Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and real time gross settlement holidays; And bank account closing holiday is included.
Bank Holidays in June 2023
According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) holiday calendar, this month (June 2023) banks will be closed for twelve days, including second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays.
Bank Holidays in July 2023
Public and private sector banks will remain closed for 15 days in July this year. Apart from weekends, banks will remain closed on occasions like Muharram, Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday, Ashura and Ker Puja.
