When an Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) subscriber retires, he/she is allotted a Pension Payment Order (PPO) , which will be sent to every pensioner covered by the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) . Given is a 12 digit number.

How to know your PPO number

  1. Log on to www.epfindia.gov.in
  2. Under Online Services, click on Pensioner Portal
  3. You will be redirected to ‘Pensioners Welcome Portal’.
  4. Click on ‘Know your PPO number’ which is mentioned on the right side of the page
  5. Enter your bank account number or PF number.

Once the required data is entered, you will be given your PPO number, member ID and pension type.
