Every citizen of the country can update their details by visiting MyAadhaar Portal.

If you want to update demographic details like address online, then you will have to pay a charge of Rs 50. Along with updating the address, common citizens can also update the documents through the online portal. This work can also be done at any nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Apart from this, by visiting the myAadhaar portal, you can also update your Aadhaar online while sitting at home.

Address, name etc. information can be updated in Aadhaar card on this portal issued by UIDAI. Users need Aadhaar number and mobile number for this. Through OTP on mobile number, you can change the address and other things.

These details will be updated online

But this complete detail will not change online. You can update your name, date of birth, address and language online. step by step process

First go to the site of Aadhaar service https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ . After login here, the option of Name/Gender/Date of Birth & Address Update will open. Click on Update Aadhaar Online here. Select ‘Address’ option for address change and click on ‘Proceed to Update Aadhaar’. Here the scanned copy of the required document has to be uploaded. After doing this a Service Request Number (SRN) will be generated. Save it for tracking. Once the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile number.

How many times can Aadhaar be updated

You can change your name in Aadhaar only 2 times in your lifetime. At the same time, updates related to gender will be able to change only once. Date of birth can also be changed only once in the whole life. However, it is better that you enter your correct details in the first instance itself. So that there is no problem of any kind in your life.
