Dues of DA were stopped during COVID 19

The central government had frozen the DA dues of central government employees and pensioners for 18 months during COVID-19. The Central Government replied in the Lok Sabha justifying its decision. In response to a question in Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chowdhary said that the decision to freeze three installments of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief to central government employees and pensioners will be taken from January 1.
