Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das (RBI Gov Shaktikant das) has told the truth on Thursday morning. The RBI governor has said that the central bank has no plans to withdraw Rs 500 notes and re-issue Rs 1000 notes. He has advised people to avoid such speculations.
Addressing the press, Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das has told that Rs 2000 notes worth Rs 1.8 lakh crore have come back after the announcement of RBI. This is half of the 2000 rupee notes that were in circulation till 31 March 2023. Let us tell you, people have time till September 30 to exchange and deposit the Rs 2000 note.
