Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated the new Parliament to the nation. On this historic occasion, PM Modi released a special coin of ₹ 75. Also launched a commemorative postage stamp. This special coin and postage stamp were released in the Lok Sabha Chamber of the new Parliament House, where the program of the second phase of this inauguration ceremony was kept.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, working under the Ministry of Finance, has issued a gazette notification regarding the launch of a special coin of ₹75. Accordingly, the weight of the coin is between 34.65 to 35.35 grams.

That’s why ₹ 75 coins are special

The special coin of ₹ 75 launched by PM Modi today has Ashoka’s lotus symbol engraved on one side. It has ‘Bharat’ written in Devanagari on one side and ‘India’ in Roman on one side.

‘₹75’ is engraved on it below Ashoka’s statue. While on the other side of the coin, the Parliament House complex has been engraved. At the same time, ‘2023’ has been written below the picture. The specialty of this coin is that silver equal to 50 percent of the weight has been used in it. While it has been molded with 40 percent copper. Apart from this, only 5 percent zinc and 5 percent nickel have been used in it.

‘Parliament complex’ will be seen on postage stamp

Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also released a commemorative postage stamp on this occasion. ‘Parliament Complex’ has been published on this stamp. In the ‘Parliament Complex’, the old Parliament House is also visible in the background of the new Parliament House.
