Vande Bharat Express train: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off the New Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
This is the 11th Vande Bharat Express route in India and the first for Madhya Pradesh. Trains on this route are expected to improve connectivity and reduce travel time between the two cities. The semi-high-speed train is expected to cover the distance of around 708 km in seven hours and 45 minutes.
Vande Bharat Express currently operates on 10 routes in India, including Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Rajdhani; Mumbai – Sainagar Shirdi, Mumbai – Solapur, New Delhi – Varanasi, New Delhi – Shri Vaishno Devi Mata Katra, Amb Andaura – New Delhi, Mysore – Purchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Chennai Central, Nagpur – Bilaspur, Howrah – New Jalpaiguri and Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam. Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express Train
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off another Vande Bharat Express train from Chennai station on April 8, 2023. The Chennai-Kovai Vande Bharat Express will be India’s 12th Vande Bharat Express. PM Modi had earlier inaugurated the Chennai Central-Mysore Vande Bharat Express during his visit to Mysore. Kovai is called Coimbatore in Tamil language.
Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express Train
Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express is ready to be flagged off and recently Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that the train will be flagged off before April 10. The semi-high-speed train on this route can be India’s 12th Vande Bharat Express. This Vande Bharat Express train is specially designed for Jaipur-Delhi track; It will have 12 chair cars, 2 executive cars and a driver’s coach.
Secunderabad – Tirupati Vande Bharat Express Train
Indian Railways is expected to start a new Vande Bharat Express on Secunderabad and Tirupati route and it is expected that it will prove to be a boon for thousands of devotees coming to Tirumala from both the cities. This will be the second Vande Bharat Express in the region as the semi-high-speed train is already being operated between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam with modern facilities and is running with 100 per cent passengers since its launch.
Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express Train
Indian Railways is likely to start India’s 15th Vande Bharat Express on Ranchi (Jharkhand) to Patna (Bihar) route. The semi-high speed train is expected to cover the journey in 6 hours and is likely to start on April 25. The train will pass through Tatisilwai, BIT Mesra, Barkakana and Hazaribagh.
