Vande Bharat Express will start on the Jaipur route in the first week of April. Its schedule has also been released on Thursday. This train will stop at three stations between Delhi and Jaipur. These include Gurugram (Gurgaon), Rewari and Alwar. There will be a trial for a week. During the trial, its speed will be 72 kilometers per hour. For passengers, it will be run at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour.
On the other hand, the rake of this train running on this route will leave from Chennai for Delhi on Thursday evening. There will be a trial run from Delhi to Jaipur on March 25.
Trial will be held between Delhi and Ajmer
According to the schedule issued by the Railways, there will be a trial of the train from Delhi to Ajmer via Jaipur. During the trial for about a week, the train will run at a speed of 72. Vande Bharat will leave Delhi at 6.10 pm. The first stoppage will be GURUGRAM at 6:45. It will reach Rewari Jn at 7.35 pm. It has also been given a stoppage of two minutes in Alwar. This train will reach here at 8.25 pm. It will reach Jaipur at around 10.20 pm. The arrival time of this train at Ajmer is 12:15. The journey of 442 km will be completed in 6 hours 5 minutes.
Similarly, this train will leave from Ajmer at 6.10 am. It will reach Jaipur at 7.55 am. There is a 15 minute stoppage at Jaipur. After leaving here at 8 am, it will reach Alwar at 9:41 am, Rewari at 10:48 am, Gurugram at 11:25 am and reach Delhi at 12:15 pm.
Speed ​​will be increased gradually
North Western Railway’s CPRO Shashi Kiran told that initially the speed of the train will be less during the trial. It will take around 4 hours to reach Jaipur. Gradually the speed of the train will be increased to 150 kmph. After this, it will take one and a half to two hours to reach Jaipur. Currently it takes 4:45 hours from Shatabdi to reach Delhi. Vande will reach India in just 1:45 hours.
Train will run 6 days a week, Dal-Bati in lunch
According to the schedule issued by the Railways, this train will run only 6 days a week between Delhi and Ajmer. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. While it will not be operated every week on Wednesday due to maintenance.
According to railway officials, the menu has been prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner to be served in Vande Bharat. Onion Kachore, Jodhpuri Pulao and Dal-Bati have been included in the menu of IRCTC. But, for this passengers will have to pay a separate charge.
According to the train schedule, there will be arrangements for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For this, the passengers will have to pay the catering charge separately. However, the charge for this has not yet been fixed. But, on March 16, CCM Madan Deora wrote a letter to IRCTC for catering service in the train.
Railway Minister had said – Vande Bharat will start soon
On March 19, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had come to Jaipur. Here he also inspected the workshop being built in Khatipura. Because of this, the Vande Bharat train has been redesigned for the Jaipur-Delhi route. Along with this, the employees of Rajasthan have been sent to Chennai for special training.
