Meanwhile, the statement of Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Danve, came to the fore in the past, in which he has informed that a delegation of MLAs from Maharashtra has been informed that Vande Bharat Semi-High Speed ​​Express train will be run on the Mumbai-Goa route soon.
This information was shared by Niranjan Davkhare, a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council representing the Konkan graduate constituency. Davkhare said in a release that a delegation of legislators had met Danve. During this, Danve told the delegation that Vande Bharat Express train would be run between Mumbai and Goa. According to the release, Danve said that on the lines of the recently launched express trains on the Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes, the train will also be run between Mumbai and Goa.
Electrification of Mumbai-Goa Rail Route
The minister told the delegation that the electrification of the Mumbai-Goa rail route has been completed and the new train service will be started after inspection. During the meeting, the delegation discussed several issues related to Railways in Thane and Konkan region with the Minister.
The legislators also demanded that the name of Thane’s Mumbra station be changed to Mumbra Devi station. Danve assured them that a decision would be taken after the state government submitted a proposal to this effect.
