On Monday, Congress MP of Chhattisgarh and BJP MP Rarnadan Singh Sigriwal had sought answers to the question for bringing 8th Pay Commission and giving its benefits to government employees from 2026.

In a written reply, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary said that no such proposal is being made. He said that the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th Pay Commission) will not be constituted to revise the salary, allowances and pension for the Central Government employees and pensioners.

When will the employees’ allowance and pension increase

He said that the salary, pension and allowances will be reviewed under the 7th Pay Commission being given to the employees . On this basis, the salary of government employees will be increased.
