Dearness Allowance may increase by 3%

In fact, the DA of the central employees who were expecting a 4% increase in Dearness Allowance, is expected to increase by only 3%. The reason for this is the inflation figures. The AICPI figures for December 2022 have come, which have fallen as compared to November. In such a situation, their dearness allowance is going to increase less than expected.

Dearness allowance is fixed twice a year.
