Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai, while speaking at the first Rajasthan State Government Employees Day and State Level Best Service Award function, said that from the month of October, the employees of the state will get a big gift. They will be given the benefit of the seventh pay scale (7th pay commission).
Not only this, while clarifying the difference between private and government employees, the Chief Minister said that private sector employees have responsibilities and time limits, while government sector employees have responsibilities and rights.
If this power is used positively by the government employees, then the state develops and progresses. Speaking at the same program, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai made it clear that the state government will revise the salaries of government employees. Seventh Pay Commission will be constituted in October. The benefits of which will be given to the employees from the month of October. .
Earlier, for a long time, the Karnataka State Government Employees Union was demanding the seventh pay scale. The same demand was that the salary of the employees should be increased by 10 to 20%.
The state government announced this, this will put a burden of 12000 crores on the state exchequer. With the implementation of the same Seventh Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission), an increase in salary from 10000 to 50000 will be seen depending on the pay cadre of the employees.
It is to be known that much less salary is made available to the state employees than the salary package of government employees of Kerala, Andhra and Tamil Nadu.
Speaking on which the Chief Minister said that positive response has been given to the demands of the employees union. Whereas, in the interest of the employees, government orders to cover them under the Arogya Sanjeevani Yojana will be issued soon.
