7th Pay Commission : Madhya Pradesh Government (Madhya Pradesh Employee DA Hike 2023) has gifted lakhs of its employees. The state government has announced to increase dearness allowance by 4 percent.
The state government has made this announcement ahead of the Union Budget to be presented on February 1. This decision of the government is going to benefit 7.50 lakh employees of the state. About a week ago, the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced this. This new DA will be considered applicable from January 2023.
New DA will be applicable from January 2023
Madhya Pradesh government had announced to give 4 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) to 7.50 lakh employees of the state. Now it has been issued by the Finance Department of the state. Now the dearness allowance will increase from 34 percent to 38 percent. This rule will be considered applicable from January 2023 on the salary of government employees.
State employees will be benefited
This decision of the state government will benefit 6.40 regular employees. Also 1.10 employees are daily wage earners. This will benefit a total of 7.50 government employees in the country. Till now the employees of Madhya Pradesh were getting dearness allowance at the rate of 34 per cent. Now they will get interest at the rate of 38 per cent. With the increase in DA, the salary will increase by Rs 625 on the basis of minimum basic pay of Rs 15,500. The salary of employees getting salary up to Rs 2 lakh will be increased by Rs 9,000.
