Fitment Factor latest news: The government has recently increased dearness allowance and now lakhs of employees are going to get another gift soon. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the government is considering increasing the minimum salary of the employees.
According to information received from sources in the Finance Ministry, the government may soon increase the fitment factor. At present, on the basis of fitment factor, the minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18000. The fitment factor has been fixed at 2.57 times. At the same time, there is a demand of the employees that it should be kept 3.68 times. If this happens, then the minimum salary of the employees will increase to Rs 26000.

let us tell you that the government can take a decision on this after the next year’s budget. If the government increases the fitment factor 3 times, then the salary of the employees excluding allowances will be 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46,260. At the same time, if the words of the employees are accepted, then the salary will be 26000X3.68 = Rs 95,680. Salary will be 21000X3 = Rs.63,000 on 3 times fitment factor.
