7th Pay Commission: Before Diwali, the Haryana government has given a gift to the employees of its state. Haryana government has announced a 4% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) of state government employees who are drawing their salary as per the 7th Pay Commission framework.

State government issued order

According to an order, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS-Finance) Anurag Rastogi has issued that DA has been increased from the existing 34% of basic pay to 38% with effect from 1st July 2022. This increased DA will be given along with the salary of October 2022. Along with this, DA arrears for three months from July to September will also be available.

DR increased for pensioners

Meanwhile, the state government has increased the Dearness Relief (DR) payable by 4% to state government pensioners and family pensioners. Those who were getting pension under the Seventh Pay Commission, they will now get increased DR in pension.
