7th Pay Commission: DA Increased…! This state government increased dearness allowance by 4%, know details

7th Pay Commission: Recently, the central government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees. After that, many state governments have decided to increase the dearness allowance by giving gifts to the government employees.

Now the Khattar government of Haryana has also opened its treasury for the employees of the state government. The Haryana government has increased the dearness allowance of state government employees by 4 percent from 38 percent to 42 percent.

This decision of increase in dearness allowance will be considered applicable from January 1, 2023. Employees will get increased dearness allowance in April salary. And the arrears from January 2023 to March 2023 will be given in May 2023.

Let us inform that there are a total of 4 lakh 45 thousand 346 sanctioned posts in the government departments of Haryana. Of these, only 2 lakh 62 thousand 849 posts are filled, while one lakh 82 thousand 497 posts are vacant. The employees posted on these posts will get the benefit of this new order.

Additional Chief Secretary has issued a letter

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS- Finance Department) Anurag Rastogi has issued a letter for increase in dearness allowance. Accordingly, from January 1, 2023, DA has been increased from the existing 38 percent to 42 percent of the basic pay. The arrears of the increased dearness allowance will be paid from January 2023.

Increase in DA of central employees

Let us tell you that in the cabinet meeting held on Friday (March 24) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a decision was taken to increase the dearness allowance of central employees and pensioners. Dearness allowance has been increased from 38 percent to 42 percent. This increase in dearness allowance will be applicable from January 2023.
