PIB in its factcheck has termed this news as false and fake. PIB has told in its factcheck that this letter, which is going viral under the name Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, is completely fake. It said that it has been decided to give additional installment of dearness allowance to central employees and pensioners from July 1, 2022.
