Lucknow. Allahabad High Court has ordered to prepare a new merit list in the 69000 teacher recruitment case, after which there is restlessness among those teachers who are from general and OBC category and are working.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with the officials of the Basic Education Department and took detailed information about the entire case and also gave necessary guidelines so that no injustice is done to anyone. In this meeting, the Chief Minister has said that everyone will get the benefit of reservation in the new merit list and no injustice will be done to anyone and no one will lose their job. The Chief Minister has asked the officials to find a way for this.
According to the information, the government has decided not to challenge this decision of the High Court in the Supreme Court. It is being told that the new merit list is threatening the jobs of about 5000 employed teachers. Now the Chief Minister has given clear instructions to the officials that all the eligible candidates of the reserved category should get the benefit of the reservation facility given in the Constitution in the matter of recruitment of teachers. Also, no injustice should be done to any candidate. The Chief Minister has also instructed the officials to find a way out for the affected teachers.
Proposal sought for affected teachers
The Chief Minister has asked the officials to prepare a new merit list after taking the opinion of the Advocate General. What will happen to the teachers who are affected by the new merit list? The Chief Minister has asked the officials to give a proposal on this as well.
It is worth noting that the High Court, while giving its verdict on the reservation dispute in the 69 thousand teacher recruitment case, has ordered to prepare a new merit list by cancelling the old merit list. After which the Basic Education Department and the government officials are closely studying all the aspects of the order.
